American GP - Circuit of the Americas

The third race of the season of the Moto2 World Championship saw the team MV Agusta Idealavoro Forward Racing to gain the first important points of this season 2019 on the circuit of the Americas.  It ends positively, then, this last round of the first trio outside Europe for the Italian-Swiss racing team.

Dominique Aegerter, who at his 200th career Grand Prix had to start from the last row, started from the grid with great determination, managing to recover in the first laps as many as 13 positions.  Continuing to lead a race all in comeback, the Swiss rider finally won the 14th position at the finish line, placing that allowed him to earn for him and the team the first important points in the overall standings.

Gabriele Ruiu, at his first race in the Moto2 World Championship on a track I saw before, took advantage of what he had learned in the previous days, concluding, at his debut, the race in 21st position.

Great emotion the one of today for the team that has finally brought to points the renowned brand of Varese.  Concentration remains high and the appointment is set in two weeks, on 3, 4 and 5 May, with the first European Grand Prix that will take place in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
