The Catalan Grand Prix

Ends the seventh round of the season for the team MV Agusta Idealavoro Forward Racing.

The Catalan Grand Prix for the riders of the MV Agusta Idealavoro Forward Racing team comes to an end. The hot temperatures combined with the difficulties of the track and the youth of the MV Agusta Moto2 project, have made this seventh round of the championship even more difficult, but despite this, the Italian-Swiss racing team has managed to barely touch the much-coveted points area, which currently remains the goal of each race.

Dominique Aegerter, who crossed the finish line in 16th position, led a regular race and comeback up to half, after which the great heat began to put him in trouble causing then a greater gap than the group that came up to the 10th position.

Stefano Manzi, on the other hand, started well, recovering immediately 5 positions. On lap 16, unfortunately, a sudden crash stopped his race prematurely forcing him to return to the box.

The team and the riders, on Tuesday 18 June, will be back on the Catalan circuit for another testing day. The material to be tested is a lot and in constant evolution and the focus is already projected on that day to be able to collect even more data in preparation of the next appointment of the season, the eighth round of the Moto2 World Championship, Assen: 28, 29 and 30 June.
