Concept ofBrutale

MV Agusta’s Brutale is probably the most acclaimed modern-age naked sports bike. The Brutale concept was born in 2000 from the inspired imagination of MV Agusta star designer Massimo Tamburini. The intuition of Tamburini was that he imagined a naked bike right from the start, designed to do without fairings or unnecessary details, and not as the result of the reverse, stripping-down process of a regular bike. It was conceived and built to be naked, with its beastly aggressive and ruthless looks that make it immediately recognisable.

Once the bike was stripped down to its bare essentials, without all the fairings and unnecessary trimmings, it was left with the beastly aggressive and ruthless looks of its incredibly powerful innards.

brutaleInsights

Quite a violent sight. Hence the name, “brutale”, Italian for “brutal”. Mean, hostile, also thanks to its signature headlights inspired by the Porsche 911, it was an immediate and unprecedented success that is still lasting 20 years on. Today there are four Brutale models in the range: R, RR, 1000 RS and 1000 RR.
