New Chief Operations Officer
Ampelio Macchi is appointed to the position of COO – Chief Operations Officer.
During his long career as a technician manager in the motorcycle industry, Ampelio also acquired significant experience in economics and finance. In 1983, he joined Cagiva (MV Group) prior to becoming General Manager and Technical Director at Husqvarna (MV Group). In 2002, Ampelio joined Aprilia as CEO and Technical Manager of its off-road division. More recently Ampelio founded his own engineering company and was CEO/Co-Founder of SWM Motorcycles. He took part in projects in Russia, Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, Taiwan and won 51 World Championship titles: 46 with HUSQVARNA, 5 with APRILIA. For MV Agusta and New Mobility Solutions, Ampelio will now hold the position of Chief Operations Officer.
